Funeral services for Clifford W. Brink, 65, of 651 Kern St. are tentatively planned for 2:30 p.m. Monday at Chapel of Memories West. Mr. Brink died at 1:05 p.m. Wednesday at the Illinois Central Hospital, Chicago, of complications of leukemia.
He was born Dec. 20, 1904 at Waterloo to Asa and Sophie Anderson Brink. He married Grace Roberts on Dec. 18, 1937 here.
A retired Illinois Central Railroad employee of 40 years, he was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Waterloo and United Transportation Union.
Survivors include his wife, a son, William of 2107 Randolph St;, a daughter, Delores of Osborn, Idaho, both by a former marriage; a stepson, Raymond Robert of 1330 Northey; his stepmother, Mrs. Hazel Brink, 2106 Cardinal Dr.; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Arnold of Ottumwa and, Mrs. Ruth Ostergaard of: Omaha, Neb.; a stepbrother, Larry Brink of 2510 Ansborough Ave.; two stepsisters, Mrs. Betty Liffring, 1041 W. 6th, Mrs. Marlys Kehm of Mill Valley, Calif.; 14 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one grandson.
Friends may call at Chapel of Memories West after 1 p.m. Friday.
