WATERLOO — Richard A. Wildey, 87, of Waterloo, died Monday, July 29, 2013, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

He was born Dec. 30, 1925, in Waterloo, son of Eugene and Lucille Current Wildey. He married Beverly Russell on Feb. 28, 1964, at First Presbyterian Church, Waterloo.

He graduated from East High School in 1945 and Gates Business College in 1950. He served in the U.S. Navy Air Corps. Mr. Wildey was a salesman for International Harvester Truck Sales Division and retired in 1986. He was a lifetime member of the N.R.A.

Survived by his wife.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Services: per his wishes there will be no service or visitation. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery. Locke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
