[Semi-Weekly Cedar Falls Gazette, March 23, 1900, Cedar Falls, Iowa]

Mrs. John M. Clark, who recently went to Trenton, Mo., to spend some time with her daughter, Mrs. John Patton, died Tuesday afternoon of heart failure. She never recovered from the partial stroke of paralysis, and had been gradually failing since that time, and it was thought that a change might be beneficial.

J. G. Clark went down and brought the remains here yesterday and they were taken to the Greenwood Cemetery, direct from the train, funeral services having been held at Trenton. She was ill but a few days, passing away quickly and peacefully.

She leaves a son, J. G. Clark, and a daughter, Mrs. K. M. Fullerton, in this city to mourn her departure.
