[Waterloo Courier, Wednesday, November 19, 1890, Waterloo, Iowa]

After two weeks of suffering, Corliss J. Fullerton, son of Dr. and Mrs. O. J. Fullerton, of this city, passed from life Tuesday evening of last week.

The dread foe of childhood, diptheria, held his frail being in its relentless grasp and human skill and effort could avail nothing. He was nearly twelve years of age, a bright and promising boy and his untimely death is a sad and crushing blow to the fond parents, relatives and friends.

Private funeral services were held at the house Thursday afternoon and a public service to be held in the future at Grace Church, was announced.
