Services for Arthur C. "Smokey" Mclaughlin, 74, of 1025 Dundee Ave., will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories.

Mr. Mclaughlin, who died of cancer at his home Wednesday morning, was born in Waterloo April 3, 1905, the son of Frank and Faith Briner McLaughlin.

He married Edith Hansen June 27, 1942, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. She survives, as do several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Mclaughlin served in the Army during World War II and was with the Iowa Public Service Co., for 27 years before retiring.

Friends may call at the Locke Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Thursday.
