Child Coked to Death
Clyde Edward Shook, the sixteen months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Shook, strangled to death at 8:30 o'clock Monday morning at the family home, 223½ East Fifth Street.
The little tot was playing and laughing when suddenly breath departed and nothing done could resuscitate him. Two doctors were summoned, but the infant died before they arrived
An inquest may be held over the remains.
The Shook family came here a couple of years ago from Greene, and the father is now proprietor of the automobile repair Shop in the Fisher building on Fifth Street. The remains will be taken to Waukon for burial.
