Darlene Kay Hulsing Thompson, 55, of Janesville, died Friday, April 28, 2006, at Allen Hospital, Waterloo, of cancer.

She was born Oct. 15, 1950, in Waterloo, daughter of Donald and Sylvia Smith Hulsing. She married George Thompson on Sept. 28, 1991, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua.

She had worked at Bender's Foods in Denver.

Survived by her husband; two daughters, Gina (Bryan) Destival of Janesville and Alexis Thompson (Brad Clinton) of Waterloo; two sons, Josh (Jamie) Thompson of Parkersburg and Jeremy (Katie) Lashbrook of Frederika; six grandchildren; a great-grandson; a brother, Don (Donna) Hulsing of Janesville; and a sister, Donna Barber of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Edna Mae Hulsing.

Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Janesville Methodist Church, Janesville, with burial of cremains in Oak Hill Cemetery, New Hartford. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Waverly.

Memorials may be directed to the family and they will be established at a later date.
