WATERLOO - Donna M. Petersen, 72, of 621 Burbanr Ave., died Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

She was born Oct. 14, 1929, in West Union, daughter of David arid Catherine Brause Yarrington. She married Estel "Pete" Petersen on June 14, 1947, in Waterloo. He died Dec. 22, 1993.

Mrs. Petersen worked at the Super Value on Ansborough Avenue for 17 years as a bookkeeper.

Survived by two sons, Rocky of Waterloo and Rex of Bethalto, LI.; a daughter, Brenda Reiher of Cedar Falls; seven grandchildren; a brother, David Yarrington of Waterloo; and three sisters: Marlys Walker of Albuquerque, N.M., Evelyn Brandt of Cedar Falls and JoAnn Hare of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by three brothers: Bill, Robert and George- Yarrington; and a sister, Frances.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at South Waterloo Church of the Brethren, with burial in Orange Township Cemetery Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Locke Funeral Home.

Memorials may be directed to Covenant Medical Center-Foundation, Dialysis Unit, or the church.
