DEWAR - Andrew O. "Andy" Jensen, 80, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Dewar, died Wednesday Jan. 16, 2002 at home of cancer.

He was born May 10, 1921, in Waseca, Minn., son of Hans and Emma Miller Jensen. He married Dorothy Jensen on Jan. 3, 1942, in Waterloo.

Mr. Jensen was retired from farming. He then worked as a jailer at the Black Hawk County Sheriff's Department and for 16 years was a Dunkerton school bus driver.

Survived by his wife; a son, Vernon L. of El Paso, Texas; a daughter, Karen Waytenick of Gumming; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert of Sun City, Ariz.; and a sister, Margaret Anderson of Dunkerton.

Preceded in death by a brother, Warren.

Services: 2 p.m. Saturday at Garden View Chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories, both in Waterloo. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and for an hour before services Saturday at the chapel.
