WEILEIN, DENTON, BENTON, PIPER

Mrs. Sarah J. Weilein, 79. a resident of Waterloo about 25 years, died at 11 p. m. Thursday at her home, 1827 Commercial Street. She had been in poor health several months.

Mrs. Weilein was the widow of John Weilein, who died here in 1920. She was a member of First Evangelical Church and of the Woman's Relief corps.

She was born in New York state in 1850, and there married Neagmlalh* Benton*, who died in 1898.

Surviving are seven children, Mrs. L. G. Dalton, Elmira, N. Y.; Mrs. Louise Piper, Boston, Mass.; Harry Denton. Edwall, Wash., and Mrs. Emma Weilein, D. J. Denton, George Weilein and Will Weilein, all of Waterloo.

Funeral services will be in O'Keefe &, Towne chapel at 2:30 p. m. in charge of the Woman's Relief corps. Rev. O. M. Yaggy. pastor of First Evangelical church, will officiate.

Burial will be in Elmwood.

She was the 2nd wife of John G. Weilein whom she married on Aug., 4. 1913.
* Surname may be Denton instead of Benton. John Weilein's obit says he married Sarah Denton, and two of the sons are Denton. And the given name is probably Nehemiah.
