Mrs. Carl (Katie) Sherrets, 3774 Lafayette Rd., Evansdale died at 1:25 a.m. Tuesday at the Woodlawn Convalescent Home.

Mrs. Sherrets was born Jan. 15, 1879, in Waterloo. She was married to Fred Shipton in 1900. He preceded her in death, and she was married to Carl Sherrets April 21, 1947, in Kansas City, Mo. She was a member of the Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Lippert, of 2736 E. 4th St., two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Her remains are at O'Keefe and Towne Funeral Home, pending final arrangements.
