Tentative services for Clifford Griffith Turnbull, 72, of 202. Crescent Dr., who died at 6:15 a.m. Saturday, have been set for tommorrow afternoon at Nottger Funeral Home in Cedar Falls.

He was born June 30, 1896 in La Crosse, Wis., the son of Terry I. and Sarah Anne Turnbull. He married Alma Biedermenn on Aug. 13, 1922 at Grafton.

He was employed at Iowa Railway and Light Co. in Cedar Rapids and later as public accountant for Touche-Niven in Chicago. He became cost accountant for the Waterloo John Deere Tractor Works where he was employed for 31 years, retiring in 1962.

He was a life member of the Supervisor's Club at John Deere, a member of the National Association of Accountants and the First Congregational Church.

He is survived by his widow, a daughter, Mrs. Frank Chase Palatine, Ill.; a sister, Helen, La Porte City, and three...[No ending]
