CEDAR FALLS - Services for John M. Bast, 98. of Cedar Falis Lutheran Home, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Cedar Falls Lutheran Home Chapel with burial in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, rural Hudson. Mr. Bast died Monday afternoon at the Lutheran Home.

He was born Aug. 9, 1883, at Cedar Falls, son of Carl and Caroline Kratzka Bast. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and for an hour preceding services at the chapel Friday.

Memorials may be made to the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home.
