CEDAR FALLS — Olive M. Getty-Grosse, 92, of Waterloo, formerly of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center, Waterloo, of complications with heart disease and Alzheimers.

She was born Sept. 12, 1920, in Lime Springs, daughter of Henry and Martha Horning Getty. She married Albert C. Grosse on Jan. 28, 1940, in Nashua.

She was a homemaker all her adult life.

Survived by her husband of Waterloo; a son, Richard (Dorothy Monk) of Cedar Falls; three grandchildren, Suzy Grosse-Thorne of Cedar Falls, Jason (Leslie) Jordan of Palmyra, N.Y., and Amy Jordan of Minneapolis; two great-grandchildren, Cachina and Khalig; and a son-in-law, Jack Jordan of Spooner, Wis.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Jordan; six sisters; and a brother.

Services: 3 p.m. Tuesday at Richardson Funeral Service, Cedar Falls, with private burial in Washington Chapel Cemetery. Visitation for an hour before services Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to Washington Chapel United Methodist Church or the family.
