WATERLOO - Duane R. Cummings, 70, of Country View Care Center, died there Wednesday, March 18, 2009.

He was born Aug. 12, 1938, in New Haven, son of Claude and Margaret Roethler Cummings Sr. He had been a resident of Country View since 1993.

Survived by two brothers, Claude Jr. of Fulton, Ill., and Dean (Sheila) of Evansdale; and two sisters, Marlene (Lynus) Bradley of Traer and Betty Lou Stinemates of Savanna, Ill.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Country View Care Center, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, and for an hour before services Saturday at Country View.
