WORLEY, WHICHER, SCHOLIN, LONERGAN

Mrs. Blanche Foster Worley, 79, former resident of Waterloo, died Thursday at 10:20 a.m. at the Sunset Manor Restorium in Traer of hypertension and complications. She had been in ill health for four years.

Mrs. Worley was born Aug. 24, 1874, in New Hampshire, the daughter of Benjamin F, and Beatta A. Whicher. She came to Iowa as a young girl with her parents and was educated at Iowa State Teachers taught in and College. She around Butler County for a number of years.

On Nov. 3, 1897, she was married to James A. Worley, of Aredale. The couple moved to Waterloo in 1920 and made their home at 502 Sullivan Ave. Mrs. Worley was a member of the First Methodist Church and was active until her illness.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. C. Albert Scholin, St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. George Lonergan, Reinbeck; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Her husband, son, daughter, parents, twin brother and a sister preceded her in death.

The body will be sent from French Funeral Home, Reinbeck, on Sunday to Parrott & Wood Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p. m. Sunday. Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a. m. at Parrott & Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Fred E. Miller, pastor of First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the family plot at Greene.
