FARM WORKMAN FATALLY INJURED IN FALL IN BARN

Walter Eizerman Dies Two
Hours Later; Rung in
Ladder Broken.

Walter Eizerman, 38, was fatally injured Monday morning about 9 a. m. when he fell from the hay mow of a barn on the Peter B, Peterson farm in Orange Township. His skull was fractured. He was taken to Presbyterian Hospital, where he died at 11:20 a. m.

Eizerman fell when the first rung of the ladder broke as he started to descend from the haymow after throwing down hay, and he fell about 25 feet to the floor below. A physician was. called and he was rushed to the hospital.

He had worked on the Peterson farm for the last three years, and had lived in this vicinity for about 20 years. He came from Rockford, Ill.

He is survived by three brothers and a sister at Rockford and several distant relatives at Hudson, la.

The body was taken to the Hileman &, Gindt funeral home. No arrangements for services have been made, pending word from relatives in Illinois.
