CEDAR FALLS- Marvin S. Lindberg, 77, of Cedar Falls died Friday, December 21, 2007 at his home in Cedar Falls.

He was born August 13, 1930, in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the son of Jesse H. and Dora C. (Hansen) Lindberg. On October 12, 1958, he was united in marriage to Marian L. Luck. He was employed as a salesman 7-Up, Carnation, Joens Wholesale and until his retirement in the spring of 1985 with Manarch Foods.

Survived by his wife of Cedar Falls; one son, MSgt. Mitchell D. of Omaha, NE; three daughters, Marcia J. Lindberg of Port St. Lucie, FL, Alicia M. (Johnny) Dotson of Fort Pierce, FL, and Paula J. Lindberg of Cedar Falls; and two grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Donald.

Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Nazareth Lutheran Church Chapel, with inurnment later in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. There will be no visitation. Richardson Funeral Home in Cedar Falls is in charge of arrangements.
