Services for Lloyd M. Card, 58, of 1939 Eric Ave., will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Parrott & Wood Funeral Home with committal services Monday at Ruddick Cemetery, Garfield, Ark. He died of cancer Thursday morning (June 8, 1989) at his home.

He was born Sept. 22, 1930, in St. Paul, Minn., son of Mert and Mabel Gruver Card. He married Betty L. Poe on Jan. 4,1963, in Waterloo. He had been employed as a roofer for Lenzner Roofing Co.

Survivors include his wife; two brothers, LaVerne of Waterloo and Donald of Evansdale; and three sisters, Jane Abbott of Elk Run Heights, Dorothy Carr of Waterloo and Marlene Reints of Aplington.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to services Saturday.
