Services for Harry E. Taber, 89, of 106 Mulberry St.. will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Park Chapel with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. He died Wednesday night at St. Francis Hospital.

Mr. Taber was born April 25. 1892, in Black Hawk County, son of Ellsworth and Mary E. McBride Taber. He married Mary Lester Nov. 25, 1915, in Waterloo.

He worked for the city Park Department and later worked for the Catholic cemeteries in Waterloo.

Survivors include his wife; five daughters: Eileen McCabe of 108 Mulberry St., Eloise Boots and Margaret May Denio, both of Marion, Doris Ksinan of Kenosha, Wis., and Rev. Jeree Faulkner of Parkersburg; 12 grandchildren, 35 greatgrandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Carter, O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home, 415 Franklin St., after noon Friday and unti! 9 a.m. Saturday.
