Lawrence Fosen, 58, of 155 W. Orange Road, died at Roberts Waterloo Care Center Wednesday afternoon of complications following a stroke.

He was born in Kanawha March 11, 1920, son of Oliver and Anna Shaw Fosen He married Kathryn Burman Sept 21, 1947, at Waverly.

He was a foreman with the John G. Miller Construction Company until his retirement in 1962. He served in the Army during World War II in the Pacific Theater.

Survivors include his wife; a son. James of Minneapolis, Minn.; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Liljgren of 1308 W. Second St., and Mrs. Anna Mae Reagan of 470 S. Hackett Road.

Friends may call at the Locke Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. The casket will not be opened. A private family service will be Saturday.

Parents are John Oliver Fosen 1889-1966 and Anna H. (Shaw) Fosen 1888-1967.
