CEDAR FALLS—Services for John A. Talley, 62, of 3011 Neola Ave., will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Nazareth Lutheran Church, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery in Waterloo. He died Friday night at Schoitz Medical Center in Waterloo.

Born Dec. 27, 1921, in Waterloo, he was the son of John A. and Emma Koch Talley. He married Marcia Frink Dec. 20, 1942, in St. Louis.

He was president of Rainbow Florists & Greenhouse, past president of the Society of Iowa Florists and also was president of the Northeast Iowa and state United Cerebral Palsy associations. He was on the liaison committee for the floral industry at Iowa State University.

A Navy veteran of World War II, he served in the Pacific Theater.

Surviving are his wife; a son, Dr John J. Talley of Clifton Park; N. Y.; four daughters: Mrs. Pamela Seyffer of Cedar Falls, Mrs. Rebecca Sheldon of Fort Dodge, Mrs. Barbara Gingerich of Littleton, Colo., and Mrs. Cynthia Stark of Dallas, Texas; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Gene of Lehigh, Kan., and Kenneth of Bossier City, La.

A public Masonic service will be 7:30 p.m. Monday by Martin Lodge 624 AF-AM at Parrott & Wood Funeral Home in Waterloo, where friends may call after noon Monday.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday and from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday.

A public Masonic service will be 7:30 p.m. Monday by Martin Lodge 624 AF-AM at Parrott & Wood Funeral Home in Waterloo, where friends may call Monday.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home until 4 and from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday. The casket will be open at the church for an hour before services.

Memorials may be made to the Schoitz Hospice Unit.
