CEDAR FALLS — Mazie M. Jacobsen, 84, of Ida Grove, formerly of Cedar Falls, died at home Saturday, March 20, 1999 of natural causes.

She was born May 24, 1914, in Sioux City, daughter of Hans and Minnie Bose Pedersen. She married Engwald Jacobsen July 1, 1951, in Battle Creek. Mrs. Jacobsen had been a cook for the Cedar Falls schools and for area restaurants.

Survived by two sons, Murel Miller of Ida Grove and Raymond Jacobsen of Meriden; a stepdaughter, Anita Sells of Iowa; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.

Preceded in death by three children: Duane, Janice and Leon; and a sister, Dorothy McElroy.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of God, Ida Grove, wilh graveside committal services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Valley Memorial Cemetery, Cedar Falls. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Christensen-Ciha Funeral Home, Ida Grove, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m.
