CEDAR FALLS — Kaylee Ruth Fisher, 21, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Waverly, died Friday, June 28, 2013, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, from complications of cystic fibrosis.

She was born May 5, 1992, daughter of Tim and Susan Pitts Fisher.

She was a 2010 graduate of Waverly-Shell Rock High School. She worked at Applebees in Waverly and most recently, National Dance Academy, Cedar Falls. She was currently attending Hawkeye Community College, Waterloo, where she was working toward a degree in psychology.

Survived by her father, Tim (Bonnie) Fisher of West Union; a brother, Cody Fisher of Minneapolis; and three stepbrothers, Jake (Liz) Skurdal of Madrid, Nick (Alicia) Skurdal and Matt Skurdal, both of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by her mother; paternal grandfather, Maurice Fisher; and paternal grandmother, Ruth Fisher.

Celebration of life services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Waverly. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Waverly, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or donor’s choice.
