Louis J. Muller, 66, of 315 Sumner St., died at 4 a. m. Wednesday at his home from a heart attack.

He was born in Waterloo, June 12, 1898, the son of Joseph and Josephine Seiffert Muller. On January 28, 1919, he married Laura Lown here. He worked as a machinist for the Illinois Central Railroad from 1915 until his retirment in 1960. He was with the ICR in Sioux City from 1924 to 1960 but returned to Waterloo to retire.

Mr. Muller was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Forresters.

He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Yvette Muller, of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Eric Girchardt, of Detroit; two grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Ann Paar, and one brother, Berner, both of 411 Summer St.

Preceding him in death were his parents, one sister and one brother.

LOUIS J. MULLER

Funeral services for Louis J. Muller, 66, of 315 Sumner St., will occur at 9:30 a. m. Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic Church. The pastor, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. L. W. Klassen, will officiate, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. A parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p. m. Friday in O'Keefe and Towne Funeral Home. Mr. Muller died of a heart attack at his home Wednesday.
