Howard Eastman was born August 15, 1921, in Luck, Wisconsin, the son of Milton Norris and Hazel Belle (Wagner) Eastman. On August 1, 1942, he was united in marriage to Beulah M. Sands in Plainfield, Iowa. She died March 19, 2005. He worked for the City of Cedar Falls in the public works department as a heavy equipment operator and foreman, retiring in 1983. He was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Cedar Falls.

Survived by two sons, Jerry G. (Cindi) Eastman of Waterloo and Rev. Steven H. (Deanna) Eastman of Bosworth, MO; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and brother, David Eastman of Sun City, AZ.

Howard died Sunday, February 19, 2006, at the Livingston Manor Care Center in Chillicothe, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; three brothers, Leonard, George, and Earl Eastman; and two sisters, Alice Baker and Ruth Root.
