CEDAR FALLS - Betty Lou Olerud, 83, of Cedar Falls died Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls.

She was born January 31, 1925, in St. Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of E.A. and Estella (Swain) Preston.
She was united in marriage to Paul L. Olerud August 9, 1952 in St. Paul, MN. He died May 26, 1990.

Survived by one daughter, Susan (Keith) Miskimins of Alcester, SD; one son, Steven J. Olerud of Cedar Falls; two granddaughters; and sister, Donna K. Fuller of White Bear Lake, MN.

Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2008 at First United Methodist Church in Cedar Falls, with interment in the Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, Cedar Falls. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Richardson Funeral Home in Cedar Falls and also one hour prior to the services at the church.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the church or Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
