WATERLOO — Ramona K. Segebarth, 70, of Sun Prairie, Wis., formerly of Waterloo, died at home Sunday, June 23, 2013 of Alzheimer’s.

She was born Sept. 20, 1942, in Waterloo, daughter of John and Donna Carroll Shaw. She married John Segebarth on Dec. 1, 1961, in Waterloo.

She was a church pianist and organist for more than 40 years. She also taught reading, music and cooking at Platteville Christian Academy.

Survived by her husband; three sons, Steven (Linda), Scott (Karen) and Shawn (Janet); two daughters, Shari (Douglas) Kramer and Sharla Segebarth; 13 grandchildren; her father; a sister, Faith (Roger) Ericson; two brothers, Jon Mark (Jane) and Brent (Kathy) Shaw; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her mother; and a granddaughter, Cassandra Segebarth.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church, Sun Prairie, preceded by two hours of visitation.

She was known for her hospitality and loved her time in the kitchen. Ramona loved to crochet. She was a loving mother to numerous foster children. Most of all, she loved being a homemaker for her family.
