WATERLOO, IOWA — Dennis Wittfoth, 77, of Waterloo, died Sunday, June 23, 2013.

He was born March 13, 1936, near Churdan, to Niles and Jessie Wittfoth. He married Kathleen Price on May 6, 1956, in Jefferson at First Baptist Church.

He graduated from Churdan High School in 1954. Mr. Wittfoth led a 35-year career in television and appliance repair. He also built two homes and many pieces of fine furniture.

Survived by his wife; two daughters, Denise (Jim) Luloff of Waterloo and Tammy (Michael) Jones of Fort Dodge; two sons, Kevin (Kim) and Todd (Karen), both of Waverly; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Julia Robinson of Boone and Joy (Victor) Michelson of Watertown, S.D.; a brother, Jerome (June) of Biddeford, Maine; and a sister-in-law, Joan (Jack) Harbaugh of Jefferson.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Grace Baptist Church, Waterloo, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel and also for an hour before services Thursday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
