OLDENBURG, WIMMER, CHRISTIANSEN

Mrs. Minna Oldenburg, 75, wife of Amos Oldenburg, 205 Lupton Street, died Friday afternoon at Independence following a long illness.

She was born Minna Wimmer July 15. 1878, at Eldora, the daughter of Henry and Karoline Wimmer. She was married to Amos Oldenburg at Eldora Dec. 6, 1905, and the couple moved to Iowa Falls, where Mr. Oldenburg established the first electrical business in that town. They moved to Waterloo two years later, where Mr. Oldenburg was an engineer at the Galloway Co. for many years, and later was employed at the John Deere Tractor plant.

Mrs. Oldenburg was a member of the Lutheran faith.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Howard, 205 Luplon, a daughter, Mrs. B. T. Christiansen, Route 4, Cedar Falls, and a brother, Ernest Wimmer, Des Moines.

The body is at the Dahl Funeral Home, Cedar Falls. The body will be taken to Eldora for burial.
