WATERLOO - Mary Anne McCullough, 63, of Brooklyn Park, MN, formerly of Waterloo and Dubuque, IA, died Thursday, May 1, 2008 at Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids, MN.

She was born November 18, 1944, in Waterloo, the daughter of Robert C. and Ruth K. (Weidenfeller) Mexdorf. She married Michael J. McCullough on July 16, 1966 in Waterloo.

Mary graduated from Columbus High School and attended Marymount College in Salina, KS and the University of Northern Iowa. She was employed by Harcourt Religion Publishers for 15 years, currently as a sales manager.

Survivors include her husband, Michael of Brooklyn Park; her mother, Ruth Mexdorf of Brooklyn Park, MN; two sons, Chris (Pam) McCullough of Plymouth, MN and Julian R. McCullough of Seattle, WA; a brother, Jim (Denise) Mexdorf of Eden Prairie, MN; a sister, Jean Wielage of Waynesboro, VA; two granddaughters, Lauren and Caroline McCullough of Plymouth, MN; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

The Liturgy is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Edwards Catholic Church, Waterloo. Cremation will occur at a later date with burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Waterloo. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Richardson Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, where there will be a 7 p.m. scripture service. Family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m. Public visitation will also be for one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to: CEAP (Community Emergency Assistance Program), Brooklyn Park, MN, RAGOM (Retrieve a Golden of Minnesota), Hopkins, MN, or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
