Elijah Edson Dean Carlson, 2, of Janesville, died Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at his home, of cancer.

He was born July 29, 2005, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Nathan and Dawn (Syhlman) Carlson.

Surviving Elijah are his parents of Janesville; his brother and sister, Isaiah and Chloe Carlson, both at home; maternal grandparents, Marcia (Vance) Knutson of Cedar Falls; paternal grandparents, John (Karen) Carlson of Lakeland, MN and Vee (Jeff) Sage of Waverly; and paternal great grandparents, Thamon (Mary Jane) Hazen of Ames.

Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Heartland Vineyard Church with burial in Fairview Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Richardson Funeral Home, Cedar Falls (266-3525), and also for one hour prior to services Saturday at the Church.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
