Funeral services for Mrs. Kate Burger, 91, a former Waterloo resident who died at Stayton, Ore., Tuesday, will be here Saturday.

Mrs. Burger had lived at 103 Wellington St. until she moved to Oregon seven years ago to live with her daughter. The cause of Mrs. Burger's death was not known here. The body was being shipped to lhe Oppold funeral home here. Services are scheduled for 9 a. m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church, where Mrs. Burger was a member while living in Waterloo. The Rt. Rev. E. J. O'Hagan, pastor of lhe church, will officiale. Burial will be in Giilbertville. Rosary services are planned at the funeral home for 3 p. m. Friday and 8 p. m. Friday by the Sacred Heart Parish.

Mrs. Burger was born Kate Bauler, March 24, 1873, at Eagle Center, the daughter of William and Anna Schmidt Saulter.

She married Henry Burger in 1898 at Eagle Center. He preceded her in death Jan. 11, 1941.

Survivors include the daugher Mrs. Matt Frost of Stayton. Ore.; a son, Louis Burger of Rt. 1, Jesup; a brother, Peter Bauler of Williams Rest Home, La Porte City; a sister, Miss Emma Bauler of Woodlawn Convalescent Home; nine grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p. m. Thursday.
