WATERLOO — Rudy R. Kolthoff, 66, of Waterloo, died Sunday, June 16, 2013, at Allen Hospital, after a short illness.

He was born May 6, 1947, in Waterloo, son of Clinton and Agnes Lutkenhaus Kolthoff. He married Gina Fagle; she preceded him in death. He then married Jan Mitchell Tubbs on Nov. 27, 1992, in Cedar Falls.

He was a self employed roofer, which he retired from after 20-plus years.

Survived by his wife; two sons, Jim (Stacey) and Jeff, both of Quasqueton; three daughters, Connie (Marty) Kerr of Cedar Rapids, Linda (Joel) Yates of Sigourney and Heather (Andy) Logue of Waterloo; 12 grandchildren; and a sister, Judy (Lyle) Reed of West Burlington.

Preceded in death by his parents; and twin sons in infancy.

Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, preceded by an hour of visitation.
