Dorothy A. Turner, 88, of 225 W. Ridgeway Ave. Apt. 309, died Friday, Sept. 23, 1994, at Americana Health Center of natural causes.

She was born Sept. 15, 1906, in Waterloo, daughter of Albert and Edith Sweitzer. She married Howard Turner May 20,1933, he died Dec. 12, 1975.

Mrs. Turner worked as a sales clerk for Black's Department Store.

Survived by a niece, Pat Crowley of Flagstaff, Ariz,; and a nephew, Paul Sweitzer off Flagstaff.

Preceded in death by her husband and two brothers, Russell Sweitzer and Dale Sweitzer.

Services will be a private graveside ceremony at Elmwood Cemetery. Parrott and Wood Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
