Services for Howard V. Turner. 79, of 416 Russell Lamson Building, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Parrott and Wood Funeral Home, where friends may call after noon Sunday. Mr. Turner died at Allen Memorial Hospital at 6:10 a.m. Friday.

He was born April 22, 1896, in Suffolk, Va., son of Jeremiah and Jeanette Lowe Turner. He married Dorothy A Sweitzer May 20, 1933, in Waterloo.

He was, employed at Chamberlain Manufacturing Corp. for 32 years, retiring in 1961. He was a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include his wife: a brother, Bud of Portsmouth, Va.; three sisters: Mrs. Mary Aubin of Clearwater, Fia., Mrs. Frances Hudson of Newport News, Va., and Mrs. Lucv Haydell of Chalmette, La.
