WATERLOO - Lela Yockey, 90, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born May 3, 1923, in Mason City, daughter of Clyde and Erma Wilson Edwards. She married Bert Yockey on Oct. 4, 1941, in Kirksville, Mo. He died April 28, 2012.

She graduated from West Waterloo High School and was a homemaker.

Survived by two sons, Randy (Sandy) of Waterloo and Steve (Terry) of Red Wing, Minn.; a daughter, Laurie (Marc) Venter of Brainerd, Minn.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a grandson; three sisters; and two brothers.

Private family services will be held. Locke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
