Services for Oliver W. "Dinty" Moore, 77, of Denver, Colo., formerly of Waterloo, were Aug. 14, 1985, in Denver with burial in Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver. He died Aug. 10 at Veterans Administration Medical Center Denver.

Mr. Moore was born in Greenridge, Mo., Jan. 28, 1908. He married Ida J. Henningsen July 7, 1935. He owned and operated Dinty Moore's Place, a tavern in Waterloo from 1939 to 1953. He served in the Army during World War II. After moving to Denver he owned and operated Air-Rest Mattress City there for 12 years.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, June Shockley of Elbert Colo., and Kay Scott of Orlando, Fla.; three sisters, Burnis Meyeraan and Thelma Briden, both of Waterloo, and Pearl Jacobs of Houston; three brothers: James and Harry of Tucson, Ariz., and Charles of San Diego; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
