Services for Mrs. Esther L, Britt. 72. of 554 Eastgate Drive, will be 10:30 a.m.. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. She died Saturday at St. Francis Hospital.

She was born March 6, 1910, at New Hampton, daughter of John and Caroline Drescher Christoph. She married
Howard Mayo April 27,1943, at St. Paul. He died in August, 1966. She then married Francis Britt Nov. 5, 1977, at Waterloo. She worked for Rath Packing Co., for seven years and was later employed at Black's Department Store for seven years until retiring in 1956. She was past president of Eagles Lodge 764 Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Robert Gerstenkorn of 420 E. Fourth St.. two stepsons, James and Thomas Britt both of Lawler; a daughter, Elizabeth Riblett of Lincoln, Neb.; two stepdaughters, Marjorie Megan of rural Cedar Falls, and Rose Hanson of Hawkeye; a brother, George Christoph of Omaha, Neb.: two sisters, Dorothy Haselhuhn of Clearwater, Minn., and Ruth Jenn of New Hampton; seven grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 14 step-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Kearns-Dykeman Chapel from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday where an Eagles service will be conducted at 7 p.m. and a prayer service at 8 p.m.

Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
