Robin Blake Allerman, 51, of Keokuk died early Tuesday morning, November 29, 2005, at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics of Iowa City, Iowa.

Mrs. Allerman was born in Cedar Falls, Iowa on March 16, 1954 the daughter of Julian and Winifred Adamson Blake. She married Jeffrey Allerman on April 16, 1977 in Palatine, Illinois. He survives. She had lived in Keokuk, Iowa since 1986 and was employed by the Keokuk Community School System.

She was a member of the First Christian Church where she served as High School Youth Leader, Sunday School Teacher, Deacon, and Mission Trip Participant. She also was a member of Mothers Study Club, Chapter LZ, P.E.O., P.T.A. and was a books on tape reader at Hawthorne School, Keokuk Sister Cities and traveled to Ryuo Japan twice, Sports and Music Boosters at the High School, and was Founder of Keokuk Area Cancer Support Group. In 2000 she was named BPW Woman of Achievement. Along with loving her family she enjoyed nature, wildlife and all things outdoors.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey; three children, Kathryn, Daniel and Rebecca Allerman; her mother, Winifred Blake of Cedar Falls, Iowa; two brothers, Jeffrey Blake and his wife, Julie, of Amelia Island, Florida and Randolf Blake and his wife, Ann, of Chilton, Wisconsin; one sister, Renae Blake of Portage, Michigan; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Nancy Allerman of Keokuk; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Memorial services were Friday, December 2, 2005 at First Christian Church with Rev. Bill Mitchell officiating.
