WATERLOO - Lorraine Graham, 92, of Rosewood Estate, died Sunday, May 15, 2005, at Covenant Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 24, 1912, in Waterloo, daughter of Albert E. and Julia Gasser Gibson. She married Donald M. Graham on Dec. 10, 1936, in Waterloo. He died Dec. 8, 1987.

Mrs. Graham graduated from West High School and attended Stephens College and the University of Iowa. She was a member of the board of directors on the UNI Civic Arts Board; an honorary member of the board of directors of the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Symphony; a member of the Symphony Guild; a member of PEO Chapter Z; and a ruling elder and deacon of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include two sons, Dr. James McCrea Graham III of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Donald II (Tana) of Sandy, Utah; a daughter, Helen Louise (Michael) Pozza of Hamilton, N.J.; three grandchildren, James McCrea (Brooke) Graham IV, Kelly Graham (Walter) Melcher and Chadwick McCrea (Teresa) Graham; four great-grandchildren, Payton Rose Graham, Allie McCrea Graham, Lorelei Kaleah Graham and Jonathan Graham Melcher; longtime friend, Mike Lockey; and caregiver, Gayle Brietske.

Preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Dr. Preston Edward Gibson and Richard Ronceville Gibson.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church, Waterloo, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Locke Funeral Home.

Memorials may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church Foundation.
