Services for Raymond Wilbur Tippey, 73, of 148 Chicago St will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home with burial in Mt, Vernon Township Cemetery. Mr. Tippey died at. 2:30 a.m. Sunday at Allen Memorial Hospital of a coronary attack.

He was born Nov. 8, 1902, in Denver, the son of Abner and Elizabeth Cain Tippey. He married Esther Jolley May 24, 1530 in Cedar Falls.

Mr. Tippey worked at Hinson Manufacturing Company for 36 years, retiring in 1965.

His wife survives him.

Memorials may be given to Grace United Methodist Church.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Monday.
