Mrs. lona Lorraine Martin, 65, of Smitty's Trailer Court, died at 5 p.m. Sunday at University of Iowa Hospitals, lowa City, of a stroke.

She was born in Waterloo Sept. 21, 1905, daughter of Ludwig and Deva Elizabeth Church Fredin, and was married Sept. 22, 1923, in this city, to Clarence Martin.

Mrs. Martin was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, its Hilda Circle, Daughters of American Veterans and Woman's Relief Corps.

Surviving are two sons, Clarence of 1670 Sager Ave., and Gary of 1220 Sunnyside Circle, Cedar Falls, and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband last January, her parents, two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services are planned for 1 p.m. Wednesday at Parrott & Wood Funeral Home where friends may call any time.

Fureral services for Mrs. lona Lorrane Martin, 65, of Smitty's Trailer Court, who died Sunday will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Parrott and Wood Funeral Home. The Rev. J. C. Dahm, recter of Christ Episcopal Church will officiate and burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Mrs. Martin was born in Waterloo Sept. 21, 1905, daughter of Ludwig and Eva Church Fredin.

She was a member of Saint Hilda Circle, of Christ Episcopal Church, and Daughters of Union Veteans.
