Mrs. Edna Hileman, 82, formerly of 153 Linwood Ave., died of complications of age at 5:15 p.m. Sunday at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home where she had resided the past year.

A native of Austin, Minn., she was born Apr. 14, 1889, daughter of John and Dora Rush Bernett, and was married June 20, 1907, to John W. Hileman. She was a charter member of Trinity American Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Hileman is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Lois Sanborn of Sioux City, Mrs. Evrett Younker of Guttenberg, and Mrs. Clayton Singleton of Coralville; also six grandchilren and 11 great-grandchildren,

She was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, her husband, one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.

Those who wish may give memorials in her name to the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Parrott and Wood Funeral Home.

Private funeral services will be Tuesday at the Kathryn Pahl Chapel at Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Irving Tange, superintendent and chaplain of the Lutheran Home, will officiate. Friends may call until Tuesday noon at the funeral home.
