CEDAR FALLS — RoxAnne G. Lang, 90, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, May 27, 2013, at Elizabeth E. Martin Health Center of Western Home Communities.

She was born Aug. 14, 1922, in Wishek, N.D., daughter of Philip J. and Mary A. Dietrich Koch. She married Ludwig C. “Lewie” Lang on April 2, 1942, in Napoleon, N.D. He died Aug. 20, 1991.

She graduated from Napoleon High School in North Dakota and then from Young’s School of Beauty. She owned RoxAnne’s Beauty Shop, operated out of her home.

Survived by four sons: the Rev. Carroll (Judy) of Fort Dodge, Robert of Des Moines, David (Jean) of Honolulu and Mark (Toni) of Waterloo; three daughters: Patricia Gohman of Kingman, Ariz., Jeannette (Jeffrey) Slaughter of Union and Marilyn Hurd, also of Kingman; a brother, Calvin Koch of Portland, Ore.; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a son in infancy; 12 siblings; a son-in-law, Paul Hurd; a great-grandson and great-granddaughter.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John American Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls, with burial prior to the service in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Richardson Funeral Service and also for an hour before services Saturday at the church.
