WATERLOO - Leota M. Heyer, 90, of Waterloo, died Wednesday April 14, 2004, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

She was born March 29, 1914, in Waverly daughter of William and Hulda Hoper Testorff. She married Art Hoppenworth on April 17,1935. He died Oct 24,1938. She married Gustav August Heyer on Dec. 25, 1940, in Waterloo. He died Jan. 4, 1977. Mrs. Heyer worked at Gamble Robinson Warehouse in Waterloo.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy (David) Loy of Waterloo; a son, Larry (Jane) of Forest Lake, Minn.; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two greatgreat-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Schatz; and a son, Craig.

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church, Waterloo with burial in Harlington Cemetery Waverly. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Locke Funeral Home.
