WATERLOO — Frances M. “Fran” Zummak, 90, of Waterloo, died Monday, May 20, 2013, at Ravenwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Aug. 21, 1922, in Chula, Mo., daughter of John and Ethel Weidenhammer Cobb.

She married Robert David Breeden, and he died in August 1966. She then married Duane Zummak on March 23, 1967, in Texas.

She had worked at Powers Manufacturing, Rath Packing Co. and Iowa’s Rolling Snack Bar. She was a member of Cedarloo Church of Christ.

Survived by her husband; a son, Robert Lee (Debbie) Breeden of Winchester, Tenn.; a daughter, Carol F. Norris of Lansing; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Le Roy and Charles; and two sisters, Mary and Dolly Mae.

Preceded in death by three sisters: Nadine, Betty Fay and Doris; and a brother, Junior.

Services: 10 a.m. Thursday at Church of Christ Cedarloo, Cedar Falls, preceded by a half hour of visitation, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Waterloo. Locke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
