CEDAR FALLS - Charla Moreland, 62, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, Aug. 18, 2006, at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home.

She was born April 8, 1944, in Marshalltown, daughter of Albian L. and Aleta L. Wagner Larimer.

She graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1962. She attended Marshalltown Community College from 1961 to 1964 and graduated from Wartburg College, Waverly, with a teaching degree in 1966. She taught at Lincoln School in Cedar Falls for three years and at Blessed Beginnings at Nazareth Lutheran Church for 24 years.

Survived by three sons: Patrick J. (Yayoi) Teramoto Moreland, Thomas A. Moreland and Michael P. (Sara) Moreland, all of Cedar Falls; three granddaughters; her mother, Aleta Larimer of Cedar Falls; and a brother, Lynn (Carol) Larimer of Columbus, Ohio.

Preceded in death by her father.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Nazareth Lutheran Church, with burial in Vienna Cemetery, Beaman. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home.
