WATERLOO — Lucile M. ”Lucy” Nuss Etringer, 86, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Bickford Cottage.

She was born April 13, 1927, on a Black Hawk County farm, daughter of Paul and Helen Nolting Nuss. She married Robert Etringer on Jan. 7, 1947, at St. John’s Catholic Church, Waterloo. He died June 24, 2010.

Mrs. Etringer was a homemaker and lifelong resident of Waterloo.

Survived by four sons, David (Joan) of Beloit, Wis., Mike (Jan) and Steve (Carolyn Estill), both of Waterloo, and Pat (Becky) of Houston; a daughter, Mary Buck of Waterloo; 10 grandchildren, Terry, Matt, Jill, Robert, Jennie, Adam, Kelli, Nikki, Luke Etringer and Sarah Buck; and a brother, Eldon Nuss of Houston, Texas.

Preceded in death by a sister, Mildred (Richard) Nuss Petersen; and a sister-in-law, Caroline Nuss.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, with a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil. Visitation will continue for an hour before services Monday at the church.
