WATERLOO — Penny L. Parks, 52, of Waterloo, died at her home Tuesday, May 14, 2013.

She was born Nov. 22, 1960, in Fairfield, daughter of Thomas Fredrick and Sharon Lee Foraker Maxwell. She married Robert E. Parks on Sept. 27, 2006, in Waterloo.

She had worked as a paramedic in South Dakota and later at EPI in Waterloo.

Survived by her husband; two stepsons, Joel Parks of Waterloo and Otis Parks of Illinois; a sister-in-law, Charlene Paris of Waterloo; three stepgrandchildren; and her mother-in-law, Charlotte Parks of Waterloo.

Services: 1 p.m. Monday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until service time Monday.
